I was fortunate enough to be asked to join the crew of Fish Bowl by its writer and director (another local Welsh filmmaker) – Shannon Britton.
This was my first introduction to the team behind Requiem Pictures, who are fast making a name for themselves as a creative powerhouse based out of London and Oxford.
It was insightful and rewarding to work on this project as a script supervisor and 2nd AD. Being able to observe the production without having the responsibility of directing gave me an opportunity to broaden my horizons by examining how other filmmakers go about their role. I even got a cameo as a pub patron – which was pretty much the role I was born to play.
Fish Bowl is set and filmed in the Rhondda Valleys, South Wales, and was a project involving both Requiem Pictures and local Welsh filmmakers. You can find out more about Requiem’s projects here.
